First and Foremost

Well this is my official first blog I guess….if you’ve read my profile then you know I’m on a weight loss journey.  Weight loss trek a mile uphill is more like it.  Every day starts pretty good but by three o clock I end up disappointed in myself or insanely hungry.  Oh well I’m doing it.  I’m worth it and so is my health.  My best friend April cheers me on as I do her.  Shes also on a “journey” although she looks considerably better than I do! Haha…Oh well…I have been babysitting three kids all day-and when their parents get here April and I plan on going to the gym.  My body is in shock from meeting the elliptical two days ago…they havent seen each other in quite a long time.  So…my new Christmas kitty Noel is probably good for my overall health…it is a challenge eating on the couch in front of the TV..she tends to try to stick her face in my food.  We have eaten at the dinner table a lot more recently due to this. Ok so I am going to try the panko crusted chicken for dinner with some whole wheat pasta and veggies for dinner…i will leave you with this mac and cheese recipe from hungry girl…its got a WW point of 4 pts for cup.

One frozen family size pkg of cauliflower and cheese,

3 baby bell cheeses (melted a min in the microwave)

and two uncooked cups of whole wheat elbow macaroni.

Cook the cauliflower in the microwave.  Combine with the melted cheese.  Cook the noodles and fold in.  It is yummy cheesy goodness and you wont feel deprived!!
